Alpha Phi Omega

How to Join

At the beginning of each semester, we will hold Open Meetings and Information Sessions that are designed to introduce people to APO and answer any questions. Alpha Phi Omega utilizes a 3 month pledging period to acquaint both pledges and brothers with each other. During their pledge term, pledges learn what it's like to be a brother.

As a pledge, you will be asked to

- Attend about 25 hours of volunteer activities,

- Attend two social events,

- Attend at least 3 meetings,

- Participate in pledge class and chapter functions,

- Maintain "study hours"

We do not haze, nor are pledges asked to do personal service for brothers. The pledge term is to introduce the pledge to all aspects of the chapter, and to ensure that all the brothers know a pledge. This way, at the end of the term, both the pledge and the brothers decide if elevation would be the best course of action.
